Moxibustion involves the application, on top of some Acupuncture point, of a small, spongy herb: mugwort (Artemisa Vulgaris L.), that burns on the needle itself or on a moxa stick, providing an energetic change and an extraordinary vitality’s stimulation.

The technique consisted (and still consists now) of the direct moxa’s application on some specific Channels’ points named “meridians”.
